[Satellite TODAY 02-29-12]  GlobeCast has signed a long-term capacity deal with SES as it looks to boost its presence in the U.K. TV market. The capacity on Astra’s future replacement fleet at the 28.2 degrees East neighborhood will be used by GlobeCast to serve its wide range of television and radio clients seeking to address the United Kingdom and Ireland.
            In other SES news, ICCES, a Saudi-based communications services provider and systems integrator, has signed a capacity deal to serve new markets across the Middle East and North Africa. As part of the long-term agreement, ICCES will use 116 MHz of Ku-band capacity on the recently launched SES-4 satellite to help its customers extend their VSAT-delivered connectivity services across Saudi Arabia, North Africa, Libya, Tunisia and other key countries.
