[Satellite TODAY 12-27-11] Liberty Global has appointed Bryan Hall its new senior vice president, general counsel and secretary effective Jan. 10, the company confirmed Dec. 23.
Hall will succeed Elizabeth Markowski who will retire at the end of 2011 after more than 11 years with the company and its predecessors.
Hall previously served as secretary and general counsel for Virgin Media from June 2004 until January 2011. Hall was responsible for Virgin’s legal and regulatory activities and played a key role in the company’s mergers and acquisitions, financing and strategic initiatives.
