[Satellite TODAY 11-23-11] Educational news network Channel One News has extended its multi-year contract with satellite video service provider Keystone Enterprise Services to continue supplying turnkey satellite network and support services for direct-to-school news broadcast

   Keystone Enterprise Services beams Channel One News signals via nationwide satellite connectivity. Channel One News reaches more than five million students on a daily basis in approximately 230,000 classrooms and 7,500 schools across the United States.

   “The renewal and extension of Channel One Network’s service contract with Keystone Enterprise Services is testament to the outstanding relationship that has been forged between our two companies in a relatively short period of time. The team at Keystone is a critical partner in delivery of the award-winning Channel One News program as they interact daily with our network of schools on our behalf, and dispatch their trained technicians whenever on-site service is needed,” Channel One Network Executive Vice President Kathy Goodman said in a statement.

   Financial details of the extension were not disclosed.
