Bridge Technologies has launched a first complete solution for monitoring and analyzing DVB-T2 transmissions, with comprehensive support for the T2-MI stream format, the company announced Sept. 9.
The Bridge Technologies system provides visibility and packet analysis of both outer and T2-MI inner streams together with accurate drift monitoring for SFN networks, impulse response analysis, MER measurement and level readings.
“With the introduction of the VB252 and the DVB-T2-MI option, the Bridge Technologies system now has comprehensive support for every global broadcast format, to add to its outstanding capabilities in IP monitoring and analysis,” Bridge Technologies Chairman Simen Frostad said in a statement. “All these capabilities in one unified monitoring and analysis system add up to a clear lead in the test and measurement field, and make Bridge Technologies products a massively compelling platform for any digital media operator wanting to reduce costs and increase quality of service across all its activities.”
Bridge Technologies said the VB252 would be available in the fourth quarter of 2011.
