[Satellite TODAY 06-14-11] ARY Digital Network has leased one 36 MHz C-band transponder on the AsiaSat 3S satellite to deliver a bouquet of up to 11 satellite channels across the Asia-Pacific region, the operator AsiaSat announced June 13.

    ARY Digital Networks offerings on AsiaSat 3S include its flagship entertainment channel ARY Digital Asia, contribution feeds of ARY Digital for the Middle East, Europe and U.S. markets and the joint venture channels HBO Pakistan and Nickelodeon Pakistan.

    “We are pleased to join one of Asia’s most powerful distribution platforms for South Asian television services. AsiaSat 3S is renowned for its unprecedented coverage and excellent audience access in Pakistan and across the region,” ARY Digital Network CEO Salman Iqbal said in a statement.
