[Satellite TODAY 05-04-11] New York City regional cable television broadcaster MSG Networks has extended its contract with HTN Communications to continue providing A/V backhaul services for MSG’s coverage of seven professional sports teams, HTN announced May 3.
    HTN will manage and monitor MSG’s feed from its New York City technical operations center. MSG’s business consists of programming networks and interactive offerings, including the MSG Network, MSG Plus, MSG HD and MSG Plus HD and the Fuse Networks.
    “We have always enjoyed a great relationship with HTN, as the company has supplied us with the high-quality network and services essential to first-rate delivery of our professional sports coverage … HTN has long been a leader in enabling delivery of such programming,” MSG Media Senior Vice President Jerry Passaro said in a statement.
