[Satellite TODAY 03-11-11] Video delivery solutions provider Sencore has named OnAir Solutions its exclusive signal transmission product reseller to the Australian broadcast, cable, satellite and IPTV marketplace, Sencore announced March 10.
    OnAir, which established its business in early 2010, will sell Sencore’s high-quality video monitoring and signal delivery solutions, while providing customer support for the products.
    "Australia represents an exciting, untapped opportunity for Sencore, and OnAir Solutions is an ideal partner to help us build a market presence there. Australian broadcasters are grappling with challenges for which many of our products are tailor-made, such as trans-coding from MPEG-4 to MPEG-2 – and OnAir Solutions has a strong track record of establishing a base for new products that uniquely satisfy specific requirements," Sencore General Manager of International Business Development Tony Oehlerking said in a statement.
