RRsat to Distribute BabyTV Channel in North America on Galaxy-23

[Satellite TODAY 01-19-11] Content management and global distribution services provider RRsat has signed an agreement with BabyTV to distribute the Fox International channel throughout North America on Intelsat’s Galaxy-23 satellite located at 121 degrees West, RRsat announced Jan. 18. 
     RRsat will provide access to the channel to thousands of cable headends representing up to 90 percent of the U.S. cable market. RRsat distributes BabyTV to Europe via the Eutelsat’s Hotbird satellite as well as to Asia via Measat 3A. 
     “RRsat has played a key role in the expansion of our reach in the past and continues to do so.  RRsat’s services allow us easy access to international markets in multiple languages the world over,” BabyTV Managing Director Liran Talit said in a statement.
