[Satellite TODAY 10-27-10] Canadian mobile satellite antenna provider C-Com Satellite Systems posted a 34.2 percent increase in revenues and a 30.4 percent jump in net profits during its 2010 third quarter, the company announced in its latest financial results issued Oct. 26.
    C-Com’s revenues were $2.7 million in the 2010 third quarter, compared with results from the same period a year ago, when total revenues were $2 million. The company said its sales in North America increased 72.8 percent from the 2009 third quarter and that its business in the region has shown signs of economic recovery.
    “This is the company’s 26th consecutive profitable quarter. We continue to remain free of long-term debt with a significant cash position. The company has recorded an accrual for future income tax payable due to expected future earnings” C-Com President and CEO Leslie Klein said in a statement.
