[Satellite TODAY 09-24-10] Arqiva has signed a new co-location agreement with U.S. teleport operator USEI, Arqiva announced Sept. 24.
The deal will enable USEI to access Arqiva’s occasional-use infrastructure to support United Kingdom downlinks and uplinks to their facilities in the United States and Japan.
“Our European teleports and fiber links form part of an integrated international network in which our United Kingdom teleports offer exceptional connectivity to numerous satellites operating across an extremely broad footprint. We are delighted to provide USEI with the means to reliably and effectively access these satellites enabling the onward distribution of content from a wide range of countries and platforms,” Arqiva Satellite & Media Executive Vice President Jon Kirchner said in a statement.
