[Satellite TODAY 09-23-10] SES Astra signed a deal with Belgian telecom provider Mobistar to provide capacity for a new DTH platform in Belgium, SES announced Sept. 21.
    The capacity will be used for Mobistar TV, which will include digital, HD and a wide range of European FTA channels. The TV offering will be integrated into a fully-hybrid DSL/ DTH solution, combining telephone and Internet with TV services. Mobistar TV also will include interactive services such as catch-up TV and video on demand.
    “The launch of Mobistar TV is strong proof of the growing trend towards hybrid solutions. We expect this trend to emerge and increase in many other Astra markets soon,” SES Astra CEO Ferdinand Kayser said in a statement.
