Envivio, Edgeware, and Verimatrix have collaborated to provide an integrated ecosystem solution featuring highly scalable video processing, distribution and content security for HTTP live streaming video services to an unnamed global systems integrator which is combining the solution its linear IPTV, time-shift TV and VOD architecture, the companies announced.
    The combined solution includes the Envivio 4Caster C4 content protection, the Verimatrix VCAS 3 system for conditional access and revenue security and Edgeware’s WTV servers for scalable distribution and delivery servers. 
    The three partners said they developed the end-to-end, multi-screen solution for IPTV operators to eliminate the need to struggle with a confusing array of new technology and system choices and enable operators to take advantage of new revenue opportunities within subscriber environments, such as TVs, computers, mobile devices and game consoles.
    “We are delivering a solution that allows providers to quickly launch competitive new services to new devices.  There are a growing range of TV and video options available to consumers and providers need to move fast, without having to worry about integration and technology issues within the delivery system,” Edgeware Vice President of Business Development Jon Haley said in a statement.
