[Satellite TODAY 09-07-10] RRsat has entered a partnership with Europe’s Digital Media Center (DMC) to offer a complete global playout and content delivery solutions to regional broadcasters, the company announced Sept. 7.
    The partnership will see DMC and RRsat combine their capabilities and networks through a dedicated fiber connection. The alliance also will combine DMC’s capabilities in multi-lingual, multi-territory playout solutions with RRsat’s global content management and distribution services. The partners plan to work with a single service partner on worldwide, end-to-end delivery, including disaster recovery and backup services.  
    The companies said the partnership was launched to satisfy the growing demand from media outlets and channel owners for a cost-efficient centralized approach to reaching large audiences.
