[Satellite TODAY 08-02-10]  Harris Corp. has completed its $525 million acquisition of CapRock Communications, Harris announced July 30.
    As a result of the combination, Harris will acquire CapRock’s end-to-end managed communication service customers in the government and enterprise sector.  CapRock Communications CEO Peter Shaper will serve as president of the business, which will operate as a subsidiary of Harris.
    The all-cash deal, announced in May, remains subject to post-closing adjustments. Harris financed the acquisition using a combination of cash on hand, commercial paper, and borrowings under its committed credit facilities.
