[Satellite TODAY 07-19-10] Moscow-based IPTV solutions provider NetUp has released version 1.6 of its NetUp IPTV complex with a renovated set of scalable IPTV software and hardware for both medium and large installations, the company announced July 16.
    The upgrade aims to make all elements of the IPTV complex compatible with each other and eliminate additional integration. Other feature upgrades include automatic notification services, account information access, parental control and optimized fast-forwarding and rewinding.
    The IPTV complex facilitates a telco or an ISP to provide various services such as satellite, terrestrial and cable TV channels, video-on-demand, IPTV players and billing and rating systems. The solution’s middleware incorporates two a server and set-top box client, which is a native application loaded into an IP set-top box.
