[Satellite TODAY 06-08-10] Harris Corp. has partnered with South Africa’s Concilium Technologies to provide broadcasters on-site service and support under Harris’ ServicePAK offering prior to and during 2010 FIFA World Cup events, Harris announced June 8.
    Harris will offer ServicePAK support contracts to customers that register in advance. The ServicePAK offering secures a mix of Harris’ in-country parts, equipment and technical support staff throughout a broadcaster’s coverage of the event. 
    Harris customers who already hold a Gold ServicePAK will receive support during the duration of the event at no additional cost, with free advance exchange of equipment, 24×7 technical phone support and on-site technical support.
    “This comprehensive support package aims to provide our broadcast customers with full local support before and during the games to help ensure they can provide the best possible broadcast coverage,” Harris’ Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Services Richard Scott said in a statement.
