[Satellite TODAY 05-04-10] Amos satellite constellation operator Spacecom has launched Deutsche Telekom subsidiary Slovak Telekom’s Maigo TV DTH service on the Amos-3 satellite, Spacecom announced May 3.
    Marketed under the T-Com brand, Magio TV is the fourth European DTH service to be hosted on the Amost satellite constellation, located at Spacecom’s 4 degree West orbital position. Magio TV service, packaged with Slovak Telekom’s IPTV and broadband Internet offerings, joins Hungary’s T-Home SatTV, Romania’s Boom and Israel’s Yes services on the Amos constellation.
    “The fact that Magio TV’s launch occurred in cooperation with our sister company, Magyar Telekom, demonstrates Deutsche Telekom’s commitment to creating synergies within the group,” Slovak Telekom COO Ruediger Schulz said in a statement.
