[Satellite TODAY 05-04-10] Netia has delivered a content management system (CMS) to Orange to enable the telco operator to store, manage and distribute content to any service provider or multimedia platform, Netia announced May 3.
    Built on Netia’s Manreo media asset management system, the CMS allows users to manage metadata at several levels in order to create a workspace with a full view of the customer’s entire content management system. Netia designed Orange’s CMS to ingest content from sources such as post houses, production facilities, and traditional TV and radio broadcasters.
    “In deploying the CMS for management of its content distribution workflow, Orange will be positioned to maximize the value of content more easily and efficiently across a broader range of target platforms,” Netia CEO Christophe Carniel said in a statement.
    Financial details of the order were not disclosed.
