[Satellite TODAY 04-30-10] Integral Systems subsidiary SAT Corp. received a seven-year contract extension to continue providing support to Sky Perfect JSAT’s existing Monics CSM and satID geolocation systems, Integral Systems announced April 29.

    Sky Perfect JSAT said it chose the Monics system because it provides carrier monitoring and interference detection in a fraction of the time of a classic spectrum analyzer. 

    The Monics radio frequency monitoring system uses SAT Corp.’s digital signal processing technology to provide automatic monitoring of Sky Perfect JSAT carriers. The Monics satID system aims to quickly geolocate interfering signals within four kilometers.

Financial details of the contract extension were not disclosed.
