[Satellite TODAY 04-28-10] C-Com Satellite Systems’ 2010 first quarter revenues increased by 13.5 percent to $1.7 million, compared to $1.5 million in the same period in 2009, according to the manufacturer’s latest financial results, released April 27. The company reported a net profit of $36,329.
C-Com CEO Leslie Klein said that while first quarter sales traditionally are slow, the environment has improved in 2010. “This year, we have seen a change in the economic climate for the better, and this has translated into more orders in the first quarter than in the prior year, both from existing as well as new customers from around the world, indicating worldwide acceptance and continuous demand for the product,” Klein said in a statement.
C-Com, which remains free of long-term debt, recorded an accrual for future income tax payable during the quarter, due to expected future earnings.
