[Satellite TODAY 03-25-10] Hughes Network Systems signed an agreement with Vizada to expand Hughes Europe’s portfolio of managed network services for European enterprises to include delivery of broadband mobile office applications around the globe, Hughes announced March 24.
    Vizada, an independent provider of Inmarsat BGAN service, aims to deliver a solution that enables large organizations to provide employees on the road and in remote locations with broadband data and voice access to Hughes Europe. Vizada’s solution is based on Hughes’ rugged 9201 BGAN platform, supporting WLAN connectivity and other standard data interfaces.
    “Incorporating the Vizada BGAN service expands our powerful Managed Services portfolio, enabling us to meet all enterprise communications needs with supporting service-level agreements,” Christopher Britton, managing director of Hughes Europe, said in a statement.
