[Satellite TODAY 02-17-10] Korean DTH pay-TV service provider SkyLife has contracted Nagravision to supply its Nagra Media Access conditional access system (CAS) to secure SkyLife’s HD platform, Nagravision announced Feb. 16.
    The CAS technology aims to help SkyLife migrate from SD to HD and protect its hybrid satellite IPTV offerings, including 3-D TV services.
    “The openness of Nagravision to work with local partners was an important decision factor,” SkyLife CEO Mong-Ryong Lee said in a statement.
    Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
