[Satellite TODAY 02-11-10] Artel signed $146.7 million in new contracts and grew year-end revenues by 28 percent to $275 million, the company announced in its 2009 financial results, released Feb. 10.
    Artel said the contracts are a combination of renewals on previous awards and 40 new orders and that growth was driven by new public and private sector business generated by its managed network services.
   “Our revenue growth and contract successes in 2009 make us financially strong and eager to support our clients’ communications needs across the world and we will continue to strengthen our portfolio with global customers,” Artel President and CEO Abbas Yazdani said in a statement.
