[Satellite TODAY 02-03-10] Pace Networks has contracted Sao Paulo-based distributor Visionbyte to roll out the Pace MultiDweller distribution platform in Latin America as a networks approved partner, the company announced Feb. 2.
    Visionbyte will use MultiDweller to extend the reach of SD and HD services to smaller towns and cities across Brazil. Visionbyte is a regional distributor of cable TV, satellite, wireless and telecom systems and TV consumer products.
    The Pace MultiDweller platform is designed to redistribute digital content over the localized network it creates through existing co-axial infrastructure. Over that same network, it can then provision triple-play IP services including premium pay-TV services, broadband and telephony.
