[Satellite TODAY 01-25-10] Vislink has relocated its Chesham- and Watford-based sales, development and manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom to a single site located at Hemel Hempstead, the company announced Jan. 22.
    Vislink said the relocation aims to increase efficiency and enhance its customer focus. The move follows Vislink’s strategic reorganization in 2009, which combined several of its brands, including Advent Communications, Hernis Scan Systems, Link Research, Microwave Radio Communications, Pacific Microwave Radio and Western Technical Services.
    “We have been able to sell our Chesham site, generating cash we intend to invest in new products and services for our customers, provided they make a satisfactory return for our shareholders,” Vislink CEO Duncan Lewis said in a statement.
