[Satellite TODAY 01-22-10] U-blox, a provider of wireless communication and global positioning solutions, is set to release its Lucy product line of high-speed wireless modules supporting globally adopted mobile communications standards at the end of April, the company announced Jan. 21.
   The Lucy product line aims to support a wide range of machine-to-machine applications such as high-bandwidth multimedia systems for mobile Internet, VoIP routing, in-car multimedia and streaming video for remote media panels and transfer of large data volumes for medical diagnostics, security and surveillance.
   “The market trend is clearly towards mobile multimedia, where high bandwidth is a necessity” U-Blox CEO Thomas Seiler said in a statement.
