[Satellite TODAY 10-07-09] i-concerts, a dedicated live music channel, signed carriage agreements deals with Eutelsat and YouTube, which will be effective in mid-October, i-concerts announced Oct. 6.
    Eutelsat’s Eurobird 9A will provide video satellite coverage over Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. This satellite uplink will make i-concerts HD feed available to a range of operators and enable them to offer the channel as part of their HDTV packages.
    Launched in 2006, i-concerts HD channel has been broadcast exclusively via digital cable and IPTV networks in France, Switzerland and Belgium.
