[Satellite TODAY 10-02-09] Panasonic is launching its “HD 3D Roadshow” in the United Kingdom, the company announced Oct. 1.
    The company will demonstrate Three mobile full 3-D HD theaters in nine cities to provide consumers a preview of the 3-D content that is available as well as the technology that Panasonic is developing to bring full 3-D HD programming to the home. Panasonic also will demonstrate its Neo PDP full HDTV technology as well as Viera Cast, which streams HD content from the Internet onto the television screen.
    “3-D television will be an entirely new experience for consumers, and we are really looking forward to getting out there and showcasing the future of home entertainment directly to the general public. By visiting so many cities, we hope to engage with consumers from across the country and demonstrate not only the potential of these technologies but also the incredible 3-D content that is being created,” Panasonic U.K. Managing Director Keith Evans said in a statement.
