[Satellite TODAY 09-30-09] Crawford Communications Satellite Services has added Pacific Television Center (Pac TV) in Los Angeles, to its full-time fiber connectivity network for television distribution, Crawford announced Sept. 29.
    The OC-3 connection joins Pac TV’s existing points of presence in Auckland; London; Los Angeles; New York; Paris; Sydney, Australia; Toronto and Washington, DC.
    The addition grants Pac TV’s U.S. West Coast clients access to the Pacific Rim, which was driven by high demand, Crawford said.
    “This new digital path benefits both Pac TV and Crawford clients. It’s cost effective and efficient, resulting in seamless, broadcast services for all,” Howard Fine, vice president of broadcast services at Pac TV, said in a statement.
