[Satellite TODAY 09-30-09] Austar will launch its next-generation TV service, MyStar HD, in Australia in mid-November, the operator announced Sept. 29.
The operator, which provides satellite pay-TV services to households in regional Australia, will offer 13 subscription channels plus local free-to-air channels in HD.
MyStar HD will offer access to local channels and its hardware will include an expanded 320 GB hard drive for video recording. Austar said services will be added to the initial offering in the future.
