[Satellite TODAY 09-16-09] Apposite Technologies, a developer of network simulation tools has released the Linktropy Mini2, a compact version of the Linktropy WAN emulator, the company announced Sept. 15.
The Linktropy Mini2 is designed to simulate basic wide area network links of up to 100 Mbps, delay, and loss conditions to test the performance of networking applications for product development and customer demonstrations. The new product replaces the Linktropy Mini, providing the same functionality, but in a smaller form.
The WAB emulator is managed via a browser-based interface. The Linktropy traffic monitor displays throughput graphs and statistics to visualize application performance.
The Linktropy Mini2 is available at a market price of $1975.
