[Satellite Today 05-19-09] God’s Learning Channel (GLC), a Christian faith-based channel, entered into an agreement with SatLink Communications for digital C-band capacity on the AsiaSat 2 satellite, SatLink announced May 18.
    SatLink will launch GLC’s broadcasting to the Asia-Pacific and Middle East markets from AsiaSat 2’s orbital location at 100.5 degrees East.
    "Our AsiaSat 2 platform is a premier solution for international networks, HD channels and religious broadcasters distributing their messages to co-religionists and new audiences throughout Asia. With Jerusalem-based facilities, we are at an epicenter of the Christian world," said David Hochner, Satlink’s CEO, in a statement.
    GLC was launched by Prime Time Christian Broadcasting, which was founded in 1982.
