[Satellite Today 05-12-09] Ensequence, an interactive television company, has been chosen by Welsh broadcaster S4C to create and deploy interactive television services for U.K.-based subscribers of Freeview digital terrestrial TV and about 8 million Sky digital satellite viewers, Ensequence announced May 11.
    Ensequence will use MHEG Presenter technology from Strategy & Technology to deliver TV services on the Freeview platform.
    “By working with Ensequence and [Strategy & Technology], we are able to quickly and affordably update and manage our interactive TV content. The combination of Ensequence and [Strategy & Technology]improves our editorial efficiency and supplements S4C’s editorial content while streamlining the content management process,” Arshad Rasul, director of broadcast and distribution at S4C, said in a statement.
