Hughes Network Systems signed Clear Channel Satellite as an authorized reseller of HughesNet broadband satellite solutions in the United States, Hughes announced April 21.
    Clear Channel will utilize HughesNet broadband service to enhance its out-of-home advertising offerings and digital billboard connectivity, as well as to expand its distance learning solutions. Clear Channel Satellite will also have access to the full range of HughesNet satellite broadband services, including high-speed Internet access, VPNs, dedicated, private mesh networks, and broadband backup to guard customers against costly landline failures.
