[Satellite Today 04-02-09] Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB) won a set-top box contract with Israeli DTH operator, Yes, to provide the company with ADB’s 7820SX high-definition (HD) digital video recorder, ADB announced March 31.
    This agreement follows an initial supply order of HD set-top boxes when Yes launched its HD service in 2007. With the delivery of the new digital video recorder, Yes said it will further broaden its offering in Israel.
     “ADB has supported Yes in supplying state-of-the-art digital television equipment for over seven years. We believe that these new units will enable Yes to further enhance its digital satellite television business,” Jim Lomax, ADB executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, said in a statement.
