[Satellite Today 01-23-09] Junjiang Bai, has been appointed as local representative of DEV Systemtechnik in China, effective immediately, DEV announced Jan. 22.
   The Beijing-based consultant said he aims to develop the Chinese market with more than 100 TV stations, 30 large CATV operators, satellite communication and defense facilities for DEV’s RF transmission products. Bai said it is the right time for DEV to enter the Chinese market because there are no large domestic competitors currently in the market.
   Bai previously served as director of Chinese business development at SypherMedia International, where he implemented the U.S.-based manufacturer’s digital TV solutions in China.
