[Satellite Today 09-12-08] DataPath Inc. has formed a strategic partnership with Metracom to provide sales and integration support for the MaxView network management system in Europe, Datapath announced Sept. 12.
    Metracom, a French company specializing in support services for satellite communications, said it is targeting sales of the MaxView software product line to the European government, broadcast and satellite operator market segments.
    "MaxView enables our customers to remotely monitor and control teleports, VSAT networks and TV head-ends. This strengthened partnership with DataPath supports our plan to extend our MaxView integration and support services throughout Europe," said Metracom spokesman Henri Wuthrich.
