[Satellite Today – 06-03-08] Eutelsat Communications has boosted its position in the broadband market in Germany, reaching an agreement with TelDaFax Communications GmbH for the immediate distribution of Eutelsat’s Tooway satellite broadband service in Germany, the satellite operator announced June 3.
    The service is a high-speed satellite alternative for consumers looking for broadband access in areas with poor or no ADSL infrastructure. TelDaFax Communications GmbH is a subsidiary of the TelDaFax Group that provides consumers throughout Germany with one-stop shopping telecoms, electricity, finance and insurance services.
    Skylogic, Eutelsat’s broadband affiliate, will be responsible for the distribution contract with TelDafax.
