[Satellite Today – 4-22-08] Arqiva Satellite Media Solutions has extended its relationship with Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (CNR) to provide satellite-based connectivity to support CNR’s operations in Africa, Arqiva announced April 22.
    Arqiva already supplies satellite-based connectivity and turnkey communications solutions to CNR, an independent oil and natural gas exploration,  development and production company. The latest contract will see Arqiva provide CNR with satellite connectivity to an offshore platform near the Ivory Coast.
     “We have been working with Arqiva for a number of years and have been pleased with the reliability of service they have provided,” Mike Dingley, manager information systems for CNR International (UK) Ltd., said in a statement. “The scale and integrity of their global infrastructure makes Arqiva the natural choice to deliver communications to our new locations and to support our growing business in Africa.”
