[Satellite Today – 3-18-08] James Gerow has been named president of Swe-Dish Satellite Systems Inc., the company announced March 18.
    Gerow has served as senior vice president for Swe-Dish’s U.S.-based operations since 2003.
    "Jim has been working in the industry for a long time and is well established within the defense and government market," Lars Jehrlander, CEO of Swe-Dish, said in a statement. "He provides valuable insight for us on the U.S. [Department of Defense] communications architecture as well as on product improvements as they relate to [Department of Defense] and federal agency applications. Jim’s expertise and devotion to delivering the right solution to warfighters have been pivotal to a number of very important wins for our company."
