[10-10-07 – Satellite Today] Integral Systems Inc. posted a 30 percent rise in profits for the third quarter ending Sept. 30, the company announced Dec. 10.
Integral had a 31 percent rise in revenue, from $27.7 million to $36.3 million in the third quarter of 2007. Gross profit rose from $9.7 million to $12.7 million. According to their press release, increases in the government and commercial ground systems segments drove the increase in revenue and net income.
“Our business with the Air Force and efforts on national programs resulted in a 19 percent increase in government revenue in fiscal 2007,” Alan Baldwin, chief executive officer said. “Our commercial revenue grew 20 percent in fiscal 2007, primarily to new work awarded in 2007 and increased shipments to customers.”
Baldwin said he expects 2008 to be a strong year for the company. “We expect an 8-10 percent growth rate in fiscal year 2008, primarily attributable to the recently announced award for the GPS OCX project and continued sales to the Air Force,” he said. “The Company is also experiencing positive increases in backlog and higher anticipated shipments from subsidiaries.”
