[09-11-07 – Satellite Today] Spacenet Inc. has signed a sales agent agreement with Tessco Inc., the company announced Sept. 11.

Tessco,  a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessco Technologies Inc., will offer Spacenet’s Connexstar services as part of a TerraWave branded solution to support the Cisco ISR based instant communication solutions , which are integrated bundles of Cisco and third-party gear specifically designed as portable communications solutions, the company said.

The new partnership will offer advanced VSAT satellite-based services in the event of an emergency, network outage or an ad-hoc event.
