[09/05/07 – Satellite Today] Stratos Global Corp. is using its AmosConnect system to connect 34 Blue Star GmbH vessels, the company announced Sept. 5.

Stratos previously outfitted Blue Star’s vessels with one license each, installed on an Inmarsat Fleet F77 satellite terminal. Blue Star will now use AmosConnect Crew, which enables crewmembers at sea to stay in contact with their homes via phone, SMS and email, as well as enabling Blue Star to separate crew and business communications.
