Measat has signed a new deal with Amagi which will see it distribute Toonz Kids via its Measat-3a satellite to households in Indonesia, one of Asia’s most lucrative pay-TV markets. Measat announced the deal, Feb. 21. The channel joins Measat’s video neighborhood at 91.5 degrees East. From 91.5 degrees East, Measat supports broadcasters and direct-to-home (DTH) operators to distribute UHD, HD and SD channels to audiences across Asia, Australia, East Africa, and Eastern Europe.

Toonz Kids launched by Toonz Media Group is a new children’s television channel in Indonesia. The bilingual channel will include shows in both Bahasa and English and is targeted at children between four to 12 years old.

“This latest television channel for kids is an exciting addition to the line-up of high-quality edutainment and entertainment channels on Measat,” Ganendra Selvaraj, associate vice president of Sales for Measat said in a statement.
