Prior to joining Access Intelligence, se was a graduate student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where she earned a Master’s Degree in Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism. She was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.</p>
NASA Receives Pictures from Smartphone Satellites
NASA’s first PhoneSats successfully beamed their first images from space. The satellites, launched on April 21 on board an Orbital Science’s Antares rocket, were all built around a standard cubesat frame about four inches square and use smartphones to snap pictures of the Earth and act as the spacecrafts’ avionics for maintaining attitude control.
